Chronos Investigations was established in 2003 to provide a full range of private and corporate investigation services to those in need. Brandon Shafer, Chronos Investigations' Chief Executive Officer, has spent much of the past 16 years in this field.
He served 5 years on the Washington D.C. Police Department. While serving the community in the nation's capital, Mr. Shafer participated in a number of specialized units. He was the lead officer in over 200 cases focusing on the eradication of illegal weapons and narcotics.
Following his tenure with the police department in the District of Columbia, Mr. Shafer brought his experience to Seattle, Washington and worked with the Department of Homeland Security. In much the same capacity, Mr. Shafer was assigned to the narcotics and financial crimes division. Mr. Shafer assisted with several high profile investigations while serving with the DHS.
Brandon Shafer's experience extends far beyond U.S government entities. Mr. Shafer worked for the Australian Embassy in Washington, D.C. and assisted during the upgrade of their internal security systems. While at the embassy, Mr. Shafer conducted internal investigations pertaining to the dissemination of classified documents and conducted classified document disposal.
Mr. Shafer was assigned as an executive protection agent for foreign diplomats from a number of countries. While working with foreign officials, he was tasked with threat assessment and logistical coordination duties.
As a security contractor, Mr. Shafer has provided security services to AOL’s headquarters in Virginia. He also functioned as a security consultant during the construction phase of the Dulles Town Center, a 1.4 million square foot facility in Virginia.
